Marcelo Brozovic, Antonio Candreva and Samir Handanovic were Inter’s best performing players in last night’s Derby D’Italia defeat away to arch rivals Juventus according to the player ratings published in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.
Brozovic got one of Inter’s few shots on goal at the Allianz Stadium and provided balance to the team, Candreva was among Inter’s best first half performers and Handanovic made a number of big saves, particularly early doors when he kept out both Matthijs de Ligt and Blaise Matuidi.
All three players have been given ratings of 6.5 for their efforts in the 2-0 loss in Turin.
Milan Skriniar, Stefan de Vrij, Nicolo Barella, Christian Eriksen, Ashley Young all got ratings of six out of 10 whilst Matias Vecino and Roberto Gagliardini both got ratings of 5.5.
The worst performing players on the night, as per the Rome based newspaper were Alessandro Bastoni, Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku, all of whom have been handed half marks.
