Tahith Chong is set to sign a new and improved contract with Manchester United according to a report from British news outlet The Daily Mail.

The Dutch youth national team attacker looked set to depart the Premier League outfit come the end of the season but now instead looks set to extend his stay with the Red Devils.

Chong has drawn very strong links with Inter in recent weeks and months with some reports suggesting the Nerazzurri have tabled him a five year deal but this report suggests he is set to put pen to paper on a new £30,000 (approximately €34,000) a week deal to stay at Old Trafford.

Chong has also been linked to Inter’s arch rivals Juventus as well as Barcelona but has seemingly been convinced to continue his footballing journey with United, who he has played for since the Summer of 2018.

This season the 20-year-old has made 10 appearances at first team level for United with him having notched a single assist during that time.
