The good relations between the Stellar Group agency and Manchester United were key in Tahith Chong opting to sign a contract extension according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

Chong’s contract with the Premier League club was due to run out come the end of this season and this caused several clubs to spark an interest in signing him on a free transfer.

Inter were among those clubs and it is widely reported that the Nerazzurri tabled a five year contract offer to the 20-year-old starlet, who has instead opted to sign a two year contract extension with the Red Devils, who he has played his football for since the Summer of 2018.

Another reason for Chong deciding to snub Inter was the fact that he wanted to play a part immediately but the Nerazzurri wanted to loan him out with Parma, Hellas Verona and Sassuolo all seemingly keen on loaning him in.
