Romelu Lukaku is set to be tested for Coronavirus by the Belgian football federation ahead of their upcoming matches according to a report from Voetbalkrant.be.

The Inter striker alongside Napoli’s Dries Mertens and Atalanta’s Timothy Castagne are all to be tested prior to the team’s international friendlies against Portugal and Switzerland that are to take place in Qatar at the end of this month.

The results of the tests will then be forwarded on to the Qatari government who will then decided what action to take, if any.

The report goes on to state that it could be the case that games are moved to another country, although that would be difficult or the games could still take place in Qatar but would have to be played out behind closed doors.

26-year-old Lukaku, who is Belgium’s record all time top goalscorer, has played 35 times for Inter this term, in which he has scored 23 goals and tallied five assists.
