Inter Cancel Training Sessions & Players Could Be Quarantined After Juventus’ Rugani Tests Positive For COVID-19

Inter players could be placed in quarantine after Juventus defender Daniele Rugani tested positive for COVID-19, otherwise known as Coronavirus according to a report from the online edition of Italian newspaper La Repubblica.

Juventus released an official statement on their website in the past hour, that the Italian national team defender has tested positive for the virus and although he is currently showing no symptoms, the Bianconeri are activating all the procedures and precautions they are required to, by law.

According to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Inter have suspended all training with effect of immediately following the news and reports further that a possible quarantine of the Inter squad cannot be ruled out.

Inter faced Juventus at the Allianz Stadium in Turin this past weekend and although Rugani was an unused substitute in the match, which Juventus won 2-0, there is obvious concern about whether he may have passed it on.
