Atletico Madrid are the latest club to have joined the race to sign highly rated Italian midfield prospect Sandro Tonali according to a report from CalcioMercato.com.

Tonali is currently on the books of Brescia but given the amount of reported interest in his services, he may not be with the Stadio Mario Rigamonti side for much longer.

Tonali is one of the highest rated Italian youngsters out there at the moment and is being tipped to have a future right at the top of the game.

He is currently under contract with Brescia until the end of next season and recent reports have suggested that Brescia president Massimo Cellino will not let him leave the club for anything less than €50 million.

Atletico Madrid aside, Inter and Juventus are two of several clubs to have been strongly linked with a move for the 19-year-old sensation.

This season Tonali has made 24 appearances across all competitions, in which he has scored a single goal and provided a handful of assists.
