Daniele Padelli will leave Inter at the end of the season when his contract expires according to a report from CalcioMercato.com.
The 34-year-old has been with Inter since the Summer of 2017 and has acted as the deputy to Inter’s number one goalkeeper Samir Handanovic the entire time he has been with the club.
Padelli found appearances particularly hard to come by up until a few weeks ago when he was called upon to fill in for Samir Handanovic, who was sidelined by a hairline fracture to his small finger in his left hand.
The former Torino shot-stopper made six appearances in the absence of Handanovic which is three times as many appearances as he had made in the two and a half years prior.
As per the report, Inter have no intention of offering Padelli a new deal and he is already on the lookout for a new club.
The report goes on to add that Inter have already lined up his replacement. Ionut Andrei Radu will fulfil the role of deputy to Handanovic upon his return from his loan at Parma.
