Inter have launched a global fundraising campaign today to help fight the Coronavirus, according to an official announcement by the Nerazzurri.

The announcement details how the proceeds of the campaign will be donated to the Department of Biomedical Sciences and Clinics of the Luigi Sacco Hospital in Milan, a center that fights infectious diseases and epidemiological emergencies. The donations will help fight the coronavirus as the hospital is playing a key role for the development of a vaccine.

Inter have contributed to the campaign, with the first team players and employees of the club donating €500 thousand, the announcement highlighted. The campaign is one of many initiatives that Suning and Inter have put in place to support the fight against Coronavirus, both in Italy and China. 300 thousand masks were sent to the city of Wuhan and the Nerazzurri squad took to the pitch with a patch dedicated to the city and country in the last Milanese derby.
