Inter Have No Doubts About Permanently Signing Stefano Sensi In The Summer

Inter have no doubts about permanently signing Italian midfielder Stefano Sensi in the summer, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how the 24-year-old, who arrived in Milan on loan from Sassuolo last summer, started the season incredibly strongly under coach Antonio Conte. The player scored three goals and provided four assists in his first six games of the season, before suffering a tear in his abductor muscle only 35 minutes into his Derby d’Italia debut.

Despite missing more games through injury than appearances made, Inter will still pay around €20 million to keep Sensi in Milan, the report highlights. The club still believe in the 24-year-old, regardless of his injury struggles this season.

Sensi has made 17 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1005 minutes. In that time, he’s only scored three goals and provided four assists.
