Inter defender Antonio Candreva has taken to photo sharing social media platform Instagram to urge people to follow Italian government regulations and stay at home amid the Coronavirus outbreak.
Inter placed all of those who travelled to Turin for this past weekend’s match with arch rivals Juventus into quarantine after Juventus centre back Daniele Rugani tested positive for Coronavirus with Candreva among the travelling party who were at Allianz Stadium.
He posted a photo of himself and his partner wearing masks and captioned the post: “It is a difficult and demanding period for the whole country.
“The only way to help ourselves, the doctors and all the nurses who are giving heart and soul to fight this virus is to stay at home and carefully follow government regulations. We are at home and will stay at home as this is the only way to soon return to smiling and seeing rainbows.”
