Inter are set to evaluate the position of multiple midfielders in view of the upcoming summer transfer window, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.
The report details how the Nerazzurri are still looking to strengthen their squad as much as possible, and are looking to sign a new midfielder in the summer, with Fiorentina midfielder Gaetano Castrovilli their top target. In order to clear up some space in the squad, Inter will consider the future of Uruguayan midfielder Matias Vecino and Italian midfielder Roberto Gagliardini.
One player that Inter know what to do with is Spanish midfielder Borja Valero, the report continues. The 35-year-old’s contract expires at the end of the season and the club have no interest in offering him a new contract.
Inter coach Antonio Conte is still looking for an effective way to utilize the talents of his current midfield options like Christian Eriksen, Nicolo Barella and Stefano Sensi.
