Former Inter president and club owner Ernesto Pellegrini has revealed two players he would like to see pulling on an Inter shirt in the future.

“I like Paulo Dybala very much, I would like him so much at Inter. Who else would I like to see in the Nerazzurri? Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, I’ll talk to Lotito about him,” he admitted in an interview with Italian radio station TuttoMercatoWeb Radio earlier on today.

He also spoke on something he has done to help out during the ongoing global Coronavirus pandemic which has led to Italy going into complete lock down as the government try and stop the virus from spreading any further.

“As an entrepreneur, I believe it is right to be of help to the community in a time of difficulty like this. I had 30,000 meals prepared. My company will take them to the houses of elderly people who cannot move due to the quarantine.

“It makes me happy that I can give some relief to those who are in difficulty. I am the son of farmers so I know the difficulties of hunger.”

Pellegrini also discussed Inter manager Antonio Conte’s first season at the club.

“There is no doubt that he is a leader. He is a driving force and someone who knows young people well and who takes care of the details, both on and off the pitch. He was the manager who Inter needed. Give him time and he will do great things.”

Pellegrini bought Inter back at the start of 1984 from Ivanoe Fraizzoli and became the club’s seventh president in the process.

Under his ownership, the club signed the likes of Lothar Matthaus, Jurgen Klinsmann and Andreas Brehme among many others and won one Serie A title, one Italian Supercup and two UEFA Cups. He sold the club to Massimo Moratti in 1995.
