Inter are not convinced by the possibility of receiving Carles Alena as part of a deal that would send Lautaro Martinez to Barcelona according to Spanish news outlet fichajes.net.
Barcelona have identified Lautaro Martinez as their top target for the Summer transfer window but as per various reports they are not so keen on paying his €111 million release clause and would rather do a player(s) plus cash deal for the highly rated 22-year-old.
Alena is currently out on loan at fellow La Liga outfit Real Betis and the report claims he is unlikely to be given a chance upon his return to Barcelona meaning his future is as good as certain to be elsewhere.
Barcelona could try and offer him to Inter as part of a deal but the report claims Inter are not interested in the 22-year-old, who is a product of Barca’s famed La Masia academy.
This season Alena has made 15 appearances across all competitions in which he has provided two assists.
