If Inter are to reach the Europa League final, they could well play it on June 24 at least according to a report from Spanish news outlet Marca.

European football’s governing body UEFA met earlier on today to hold talks on ways forward for football amid the ongoing Coronavirus crisis and as per Marca, UEFA have provisionally decided to move the final of the competition to June 24 from May 29.

The report goes on to state that UEFA have also provisionally decided to move the final of the Champions League from May 30 to June 27.

By moving the finals to June, there will be more dates available for leagues to catch up on fixtures in the month of May and ultimately finish the season sooner.

It has been possible for both the Champions League and Europa League finals to be moved after UEFA decided to postpone this Summer’s European Championship’s to next Summer instead.
