The inclusion of Arturo Vidal could be key for Barcelona striking a deal with Inter over Lautaro Martinez according to a report from Spanish news outlet Sport.

The Blaugrana club have seemingly identified Lautaro as their number one target ahead of this Summer’s transfer window as they look to bolster their club’s attack.

Lautaro has a €111 million release clause in his current Inter contract but Barcelona are unwilling to pay that as it needs to be paid in one payment.

The reigning La Liga champions would prefer to do a player(s) plus cash deal instead for the 22-year-old and could offer Vidal to the Nerazzurri, who have often been linked to the Chilean in recent windows.

Inter manager Antonio Conte is in fact a big fan of Vidal’s due to working with him at Juventus and the report goes on to state that Vidal’s inclusion could bring down the overall cash part of the deal by €20-25 million.
