Borja Valero will leave Inter at the end of the current season when his contract expires according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.
The 35-year-old Spaniard has been with the club since the Summer of 2017 when he joined from fellow Serie A side Fiorentina and his Inter adventure will come to an end in the coming months.
The central midfielder has made close to a century of appearances for the club in his two and a half years with the club to date with him having pulled on the Nerazzurri shirt on 90 occasions in which he has scored four goals.
The report from the Turin based newspaper goes on to state that Valero could return to Spain to see out the remainder of his career and it would be the first time he played in Spain since 2012. Valero came through the ranks at Real Madrid and has also represented Mallorca and Villarreal in his homeland.
