Inter and Chelsea are both interested in signing Lazio centre back Francesco Acerbi according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

The Italian national team defender is having one of, if not, the best season of his playing career this season for the Biancocelesti and as a result he could earn himself a move elsewhere in the coming months.

Acerbi recently changed agents to Federico Pastorello and this could give Inter a slight advantage if they are to go in for him given Pastroello is an agent Inter have particularly good relations with with him being the agent of Romelu Lukaku, Kwadwo Asamoah and Antonio Candreva.

Acerbi, who is currently under contract with Lazio until the end of the 2022/23 season, has been virtually ever present for Simone Inzaghi’s side this term having appeared in 33 of their 35 games across all competitions to date.

In just over 2900 minutes on the park, he has scored two goals, provided two assists and helped Lazio keep 10 clean sheets.
