Barcelona star Arthur’s mother has taken to social media platform Twitter to hit out at recent speculation linking her son with a move elsewhere in the upcoming Summer transfer window.
In the past few days the Brazilian national team midfielder has been linked with Inter with it having been suggested in multiple reports that Inter would like to acquire him as part of a deal that would send Lautaro Martinez to the Blaugrana.
Arthur’s mother has appeared to dismiss the speculation by responding to a report from Brazilian news outlet Fox Sports Brasil who have also reported the possibility of Arthur being part of Barcelona’s bid to sign Lautaro in the coming months.
“How can news be written without knowledge,” she tweeted.
This season the 23-year-old, who is under contract with Barcelona until the end of the 2023/24 season, has made 23 appearances across all competitions. In almost 1400 minutes on the field, the former Gremio player has scored four goals and tallied just as many assists.
