Napoli have submitted an offer to Olympiacos for defender Kostas Tsimikas according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report explains that Napoli’s sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli is keen to beat Inter to the Greek full back’s signature and has moved quickly to submit a €15 million offer to the 44 time Greek champions.

The offer, should they accept, will see them get €10 million upfront and the other €5 million will come in the shape of bonuses.

With Napoli making their move for Tsimikas, it now remains to be seen if Inter will react by making an offer of their own.

The 23-year-old, who is a product of Olympiacos’ academy, has made no less than 37 appearances across all competitions to date this term. In close to 3300 minutes on the field, the three time Greek international, has not scored any goals but has provided seven assists for his teammates.
