Inter have told Barcelona that they only want cash for striker Lautaro Martinez according to a report from Spanish news outlet Sport.
Barcelona have been courting Lautaro for a number of months now with many reports stating he is their number one transfer target ahead of the Summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old Argentine international forward has a €111 million release clause in his contract which is valid for the first fortnight of July but Barcelona do not want to pay this and would prefer to do a player(s) plus cash deal instead.
Inter are however not interested in such a deal and will not offer any discounts to the Blagurana club or anyone else as they are aware that there is a lack of top strikers available on the market.
This season Lautaro has made 31 appearances across all competitions to date. In just over 2400 minutes on the park, he has scored 16 goals and provided four assists for his Nerazzurri teammates.
