Barcelona owned forward Philippe Coutinho could be included in the deal for Inter striker Lautaro Martinez, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how the 27-year-old Brazilian, who is currently on loan with German giants Bayern Munich, could return to Inter in the summer if the Blaugrana decide to include him in a deal for Lautaro. The Blaugrana are incredibly keen to sign the 22-year-old Argentine striker and believe he would be the perfect replacement for the aging Luis Suarez.

Whilst Inter CEO Beppe Marotta would prefer Barcelona midfielder Arthur, the report continues, it is still a possible deal. Coutinho’s return to Inter would trigger a tactical change by coach Antonio Conte, as he would change the formation to a 3-4-2-1, putting the 27-year-old Brazilian alongside Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen, behind Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku. The former Juventus and Italy coach had a similar set up at Chelsea, where he placed Eden Hazard and either Willian or Pedro behind Diego Costa.
