Inter have closed the Inter Campus in all 30 countries where it operates due to the Coronavirus emergency, according to a report from Italian media outlet FcInterNews today.
The report details how the Nerazzurri appreciate the advice from the World Health Organization and have taken notice of the specific measures adopted by local governments, and have decided to temporarily suspend all of Inter Campus’ training activities, as well as any other meetings, in all 30 countries where it operates.
Whilst Inter Campus was set up as an outlet to help children across the world play football, the report continues, the Milanese club have a duty to protect their health, as well as the health of all the coaches and staff. The Campus’ will return when it is safe and advisable to do so.
Inter Campus was founded by former club president Massimo Moratti in 1996 and has provided services to over 10,000 children across the globe.
