The report details how interest in Montiel has come from Spain, Italy and England as clubs in Europe begin to notice the 23-year-old, who is contracted to the Argentine club until 2021. Spanish sides Real Betis and Valencia, as well as Premier League clubs Crystal Palace and West Ham, and Italian teams Inter and Roma have all asked River Plate about the availability of the player.

Montiel has a release clause in his worth €20 million, the report continues. He has made 20 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1785 minutes. In that time, he has provided three assists and helped the side keep nine clean sheets. Inter coach Antonio Conte is looking for a consistent new wing back.
