Inter are interested in signing Barcelona full back Nelson Semedo in the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report from Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo.

As per the report, Inter have officially expressed their interest in signing the Portuguese national team defender to the La Liga giants who are not opposed to potentially letting him leave the club in the coming months.

Semedo joined Barcelona in the Summer of 2017 from Benfica in a €30 million deal and it as yet unclear what sort of price they might demand for the player, who is under contract with them until the end of the 2021/22 season.

This season the 26-year-old has made 29 appearances across all competitions to date. In just over 2100 minutes on the park, Semedo has provided five assists for his Blaugrana teammates.

Reports elsewhere in the media have strongly linked Barcelona with a move for Inter’s Lautaro Martinez and it is understood that Barcelona are willing to do a player(s) plus cash deal for him which could well mean Inter acquire Semedo in such a deal.
