In an interview with Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, Luca Ariatti, the agent of Inter owned Lorenzo Gavioli, has revealed that his client hopes to be playing in at least Serie B next season.

Gavioli was loaned out to Serie B outfit Venezia this past Summer but after struggling to break into the team, the loan deal was cut short and Inter loaned him out to Serie C side Ravenna for the remainder of the season.

Ariatti started by sharing his gratitude for how Ravenna went about coming in for his client in the past few months and also discussed his client’s spell at Venezia, where, although he never played as much as expected, he still learned a lot.

“I appreciated how Ravenna went about things in January. In Venice he grew a lot under Dionisi, who is one of the best managers in Serie B,” he said.

“The boy’s idea was to do well. The worst thing is to not play as the minutes Ravenna have given him are welcomed but his goal is to play in Serie B next season.”

The Italy under 20 national team midfielder, who is currently under contract with Inter until the end of the 2021/22 season, has appeared in six of Ravenna’s seven games since his arrival but he has made no goal contributions.
