Paris Saint Germain will take up their option to buy Mauro Icardi from Inter and will then use him as part of a deal with Juventus according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

Icardi is currently on loan at the reigning French champions who can sign him up on a permanent basis for a sum of €70 million.

Whilst out on loan at the Parc des Princes club, recently turned 27-year-old Icardi has made 31 appearances across all competitions in which he has scored 20 goals and provided four assists.

This report claims that they will activate this option and they will then begin talks with Juventus over a swap deal that would see Icardi head to Juventus and Miralem Pjanic head to the French capital.

Paris Saint Germain would also like Juventus to include another player as part of the deal with it understood that PSG would like Mattia De Sciglio included too.
