Serie A clubs are split in what they want to see happen with the 2019/20 season according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

Some clubs wish for the season to resume as soon as possible and finished whenever and however possible. Lazio, Atalanta and Napoli are understood to be among this group.

The clubs on the other side of the split however want the season to be considered finished with both Udinese and Sampdoria in this group.

Inter, Roma and Juventus have not shown a preference for either yet and are refusing to rule anything out at this stage.

European football’s governing body UEFA want the season concluded by June 30 at the latest and the Italian football federation made a commitment to them that this would happen but the report from the Turin based newspaper goes on to state that the season may have to go into July depending on when it resumes, if it does.
