Juan Musso’s agent Vicente Montes has shared his belied that his client is ready to take the next step in his career and join a top club such as Inter.

The Argentine national team goalkeeper has been one of the most consistent goalkeepers in Serie A since his arrival at Udinese and he has drawn links to both Inter and AC Milan among other clubs in recent weeks.

In an interview with FCInterNews.it, Montes has shared why he thinks Musso is ready to make the leap.

“I think he is and I will explain why. Juan’s qualities as a goalkeeper are obvious and obvious to everyone. In additiona to these qualities he is an exemplary professional. This is what makes great players different, their mentality. Musso has this and that is required for this role and to be at a top club.”

He was then asked if his client would expect to start at Inter over current number one goalkeeper Samir Handanovic should he join the Nerazzurri.

“He wouldn’t expect anything, no player has the right to play. It is what they do on the field that must determine who deserves it.

“Juan admires Handanovic as a goalkeeper and as a professional and if they were in the same squad Musso would fight for his place. I assure you that he would always fight whilst admiring and being respectful of Handanovic.

“He would definitely try and learn from the Slovenian and try to improve day by day. Imagine how strong the team would be with a super experienced goalkeeper in Handanovic and then a young keeper like Musso.”

Next Montes was asked if he has held any talks with Inter over his client and what he thinks of clubs being interested in the shot-stopper.

“No, but even if I had obviously I wouldn’t say it. In any case, I assure you that there are several clubs that have inquired about Juan across Europe. It is normal that he is followed due to his quality and because he is young.”

In conclusion, Montes was asked if his client his happy at Udinese and admitted that it is unknown what will happen in the coming months.

“Juan has a contract with Udinese and is very happy with the Bianconeri club. We have not planned a move, nor will we push for it. Everything is uncertain, who knows what the market will look like in the coming months.”
