Diego Godin could leave Inter at the end of this season with two Premier League clubs interested in signing him according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are said to be interested in signing the veteran Uruguayan national team centre back who has struggled to live up to expectations since his arrival at Inter on a free transfer this past Summer.

Godin leaving may not be the only change made to Inter’s defence in the coming month with the report going on to state that Inter are targeting defensive reinforcements.

Tottenham Hotspur’s Jan Vertonghen is one of the Nerazzurri’s targets and the experienced Belgian national team centre back could be acquired on a free transfer.

Moreover, Inter have their eyes set on young Hellas Verona defender Marash Kumbulla and could offer Federico Dimarco and Eddie Salcedo to the Gialloblu club as part of a deal for Kumbulla.
