The future of Inter target Pierre Emerick Aubameyang at Arsenal hangs in the balance as the player still isn’t close to signing a contract renewal with the Gunners, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the British newspaper the Sun.

The report details how the 30-year-old Gabonese striker is keen for Champions League football and doesn’t believe that Arsenal can provide this request, considering the current strength of the top four in England.

Aubameyang spoke briefly about the topic when speaking to former AC Milan midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng on Instagram Live, the report continues. The Fiorentina owned player highlighted how many are saying that he should sign a new deal with Arsenal, to which he replied: “Ah yes, I know.”

Inter are following the situation closely and are considering launching a bid for the player should he not sign a contract renewal with the North London club. The player’s current contract expires at the end of next season.
