Inter may give Bayern Munich a small discount on Croatian forward Ivan Perisic in order to convince the German side to sign the player in the summer, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how the Bavarian club aren’t fully convinced that Perisic is worth the €20 million price tag and are unsure whether they want to enact the buy option on the Inter owned forward. The Nerazzurri would be willing to give Bayern a small discount in order to stop the 2018 World Cup finalist from returning to Milan.

Perisic’s wages are around €4.6 million net per season, the report continues, a high fee that Inter would prefer to avoid. The 31-year-old has made 22 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1200 minutes. In that time, he has scored five goals and provided eight assists, although he has suffered from injury this season.
