Inter striker Lautaro Martinez’s entourage have strongly denied that they have reached an agreement for the transfer of the 22-year-old to Barcelona in the upcoming summer transfer window, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper la Repubblica.

The report details how the 22-year-old Argentine striker, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2023, has simply said that he is open to the prospect of joining the Blaugrana, due to his desire to play with idol and legend Lionel Messi. However, he refuses to push for a move away from Milan and has even demanded that all parties leave the table satisfied. Otherwise there would be no deal.

Both Inter and Lautaro have denied that an agreement has already been reached, the report continues, in part due to the ongoing Coronavirus emergency. Both Barcelona and Inter are currently focusing on their financial situations and players’ wages, as football clubs around Europe are taking losses due to the postponement of all football.
