Inter believe that the deal for Hellas Verona starlet Marash Kumbulla is all but complete, according to a report from Italian media outlet FcInter1908 yesterday.

The report details how the Nerazzurri are looking to strengthen their defensive department in the summer to provide coach Antonio Conte more options. Kumbulla is far from a low-cost option, with an expected cost of €30 million, but considering his potential Inter are happy to pay that fee. The club have followed the 19-year-old for the whole season and appreciate his qualities.

Inter have been in contact with both the player’s entourage and Hellas Verona, the report continues. Whilst other clubs like Napoli and Lazio are interested in the player, Inter believe they are certain to secure his signature. The Nerazzurri have an excellent relationship with Verona, who are willing to allow Inter owned players Federico Dimarco and Eddie Salcedo to be included in the negotiations.
