Juventus’ decision to reach an agreement over salary payments with their players and staff has angered both Serie A and several other Serie A clubs according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere della Sera.

Juventus came to an agreement with their players and staff that means they will not get paid for the months of March, April, May and June, something that will save the Bianconeri club a sum of no less than €90 million.

As per the report, many clubs had hoped to present themselves to the Italian players associations (AIC) with a united front to stand a better chance of the AIC agreeing but this will now not be possible given Juventus acted before everyone else.

The report from the Milan based newspaper goes on to state that Lega Serie A will propose a salary freeze until June to the AIC who will in return ask for all January and February payments to be complied with to quantify the damage.
