Inter have the same strategy when it comes to signing both Olivier Giroud and Jan Vertonghen in the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

Both players contracts with their current employers are due to expire at the end of this season and Inter are ready to offer them both a two year contract with an option of a third year.

Giroud is understood to have already knocked back a contract extension offer from Chelsea that would have seen him stay for a further season whilst Vertonghen and his agent have both recently refused to rule anything out when it comes to his future.

The experienced French and Belgian national team players are just two of several players set to become free agents that Inter have been linked to with Napoli’s Dries Mertens and Borussia Dortmund’s Mario Gotze both also having been linked in the media in recent weeks and months among many others.
