Parma’s Luigi Sepe is currently the favourite to become the back-up goalkeeper to Samir Handanovic at Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

Inter have also drawn strong links to Udinese’s Juan Musso whilst it has been suggested that the Nerazzurri may even call upon Ionut Andrei Radu who is already on their books.

As per the report from the Turin based newspaper, there is currently two reasons as to why Sepe is ahead of Musso and Radu in the race to be the deputy to Handanovic.

The first reason is that he has plenty of experience as a starter and as a back-up goalkeeper and the second reason is that he would be a lot cheaper than Musso, who Udinese are understood to be demanding a sum of no less than €30 million for.

This season 28-year-old Sepe has made 22 appearances across all competitions, in which he has conceded 28 goals and kept a total of five clean sheets.
