Barcelona are prepared to give Inter striker Lautaro Martinez a huge contract in order to convince him to join the club, according to a report from transfer market expert Nicolò Schira, with his words being reported by PassioneInter.com earlier today.
The report details how the Catalan club are incredibly keen to sign the 22-year-old Argentine striker, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2023, as they believe he would be the perfect replacement for the aging Luis Suarez.
In order to convince the player to join the club, they are prepared to offer him a contract worth €10 million per season. Inter don’t want to sell the player and aren’t interested in bargaining for him, the report continues.
If Barcelona want to sign Lautaro, they will have to pay his €111 million release clause. The Nerazzurri are not interested in either Junior Firpo or Nélson Semedo, both of whom have been proposed to Inter in exchange.
