A report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport has analysed what will happen to Inter owned striker Mauro Icardi.
The report details how French club Paris Saint Germain are not interested in enacting the €70 million buy option attached to the 27-year-old Argentine striker, who has impressed on the pitch in France this season. Inter are now preparing for his return to Milan and are already looking for a new home for the player.
One idea for Icardi is to send him to Juventus in exchange for two Bianconeri players, the report continues. Last summer Inter were happy to send Icardi to the Bianconeri in exchange for Paulo Dybala, although considering the Juventus forward’s performances this season it is unlikely that the Turin based club will even consider this. However, the Nerazzurri would also be happy to take two players in exchange for the Argentine striker, although this is still only an idea for now and no names have been proposed.
