Inter Primavera talents Lorenzo Pirola and Gaetano Oristanio discussed their work with Inter and career so far in a double interview in today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
First, the duo discussed their best talents.
Pirola: “The determination and concentration for 90 minutes.”
Oristanio: “Technical skills, one on one, dribbling.”
They then highlighted their biggest weakness.
Pirola: “The use of my right foot.”
Oristanio: “Sometimes I’m too intent on holding onto the ball.”
The Primavera duo touched on their childhood idols.
Pirola: “Sergio Ramos. Even now.”
Oristanio: “Messi. I wish I played like him.”
The teenagers highlighted their favourite players in the Inter squad.
Pirola: “De Vrij now, Samuel before.”
Oristanio: “Sensi, another little guy.”
They both suggested that Inter forward Sebastiano Esposito was the best player that they’ve played with.
Pirola: “Sebastiano Esposito is special, he makes the difference.”
Oristanio: “I agree. He deserves everything.”
The Primavera players spoke about where they see themselves in five years’ time.
Pirola: “The dream is to be at Inter, as a starter. It’s hard, but…”
Oristanio: “I hope among professional. Inter would be the icing on the cake.”
Finally, they spoke about what they expect to happen in September.
Pirola: “Team and agents will decide what’s best.”
Oristanio: “I’ll definitely stay here.”
Pirola has made 20 appearances across all competitions so far this season for the Primavera squad, for a total of 1800 minutes. In that time, he has provided one assist and helped the squad keep 10 clean sheets.
Oristanio has made 15 appearances this season, scoring five goals and providing one assist in that time.
