Napoli are interested in signing Inter owned forward Andrea Pinamonti, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report details how the Partenopei, under the guidance of coach Gennaro Gattuso, are looking for a new striker for next season and have identified Pinamonti as a possible option. The 20-year-old Italian, who is currently on loan with Genoa, will be purchased by the Ligurian side at the end of the season, due to the obligation to buy attached to his deal.

Pinamonti will cost Genoa €18 million, the report continues, and despite his limited number of goals with Frosinone and the Rossoblu he has continued to impress Napoli. The 20-year-old has made 22 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1585 minutes. In that time, he has scored four goals and provided three assists, not scoring in the league since October.
