Inter and Torino could perform a swap deal involving Roberto Gagliardini and Armando Izzo in the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

Torino have renewed their previous interest in signing Gagliardini whilst Inter have developed an interest in signing Torino centre back Armando Izzo.

It is understood that Inter manager Antonio Conte deems Izzo to be the perfect addition for the defence given his ability to play in a three man back line.

Gagliardini joined Inter in the Summer of 2017 from fellow Serie A side Atalanta and made a promising start to life with the club but he has found himself slide down the pecking order this season and with it understood Inter are looking to invest in midfielders, he will only slide further down the pecking order.

The report does not specify if the clubs will do a straight swap or if one of the clubs will have to add some cash on top to make things equal.
