Lautaro Martinez is flattered by the interest Barcelona have shown in him but he will not try and push for a move to them according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

For a number of weeks and months now, the 22-year-old striker has been heavily linked with the reigning La Liga champions with many reports suggesting he is one of their top transfer targets ahead of the Summer transfer window.

The report goes on to explain that Lautaro is very grateful to Inter for helping him become the player he has and this is why he will not push for a move.

Lautaro has a €111 million release clause and Inter have made it clear that they will only let him go if this clause is met, something Barcelona look unlikely to do with it widely understood they would rather do a player(s) plus cash deal for him.
