Fiorentina president and owner Rocco Commisso has insisted that the club are in a position where they do not need to sell any of their players if bids are to come in for them.

Several Fiorentina players have drawn links with moves elsewhere in recent weeks and months, none more so than midfielder Gaetano Castrovilli and winger Federico Chiesa.

Castrovilli, who has been one of the revelations of the Serie A season, has drawn links to both Inter and Roma whilst Chiesa has long drawn links to Inter and Juventus whilst reports have also linked him with clubs abroad too.

“Other clubs can’t touch any of them today. Castrovilli has a long contract with us and the same goes for Chiesa. I love good players and I don’t necessarily have to sell them,” Commisso remarked in an interview with Italian broadcaster SportItalia late last night.

This season Castrovilli has made 26 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored three goals and provided two assists.

Chiesa has meanwhile totalled 26 appearances across all competitions during which he has scored seven goals and tallied five assists.
