Inter are in no hurry to let Lautaro Martinez go but are readying themselves for any possible scenario that could arise according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

The 22-year-old striker has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona in the upcoming Summer transfer window with it understood that Barcelona see him as one of their top transfer targets.

Lautaro has a €111 million release clause in his current contract with Inter and it has been widely reported that Barcelona want to do a player(s) plus cash deal for him.

Inter have no intention of letting him go unless this clause is met and therefore Barcelona will have to raise the funds to land him.

Barcelona could sell either Antoine Griezmann or Philippe Coutinho to have the funds available to activate Lautaro’s release clause.

Inter are adamant they want his release clause paid as it will give them funds to go out and sign his replacement with the report stating that Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is the management’s current favourite.
