Inter have made an offer of €25 million to Velez Sarsfield for their top prospect Thiago Almada according to a report from Argentine broadcaster TNT Sports journalist Martin Castilla.

The Argentine youth national team midfielder is rated as one of the most promising young players of his generation and Inter appear to be wasting no time when it comes to signing him.

Other reports in the media have suggested that Premier League duo Manchester City and Arsenal are both also keen on signing him.

Almada has been virtually ever present for Velez Sarsfield this term with him having made a total of 24 appearances across all competitions to date. In 1374 minutes on the park, he has scored five goals and has also provided two assists for his teammates.

Castilla has also claimed that Almada will be joined at Inter by multi-time world player of the year Lionel Messi, who is currently on the books at Barcelona.

Former Inter president Massimo Moratti has spoken a lot about Messi in the past few days and some reports have also speculated about the possibility of Messi landing at the Nerazzurri.
