Inter have reached an agreement with Danilo D’Ambrosio over a contract extension with the club according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

Inter struck the agreement with the Italian national team wing back earlier on in the season and he will see his wages rise from €2 million a year to €3 million a year.

The contract extension will be announced at the end of the current season and will see him extend his deal with the club until the end of the 2021/22 season.

The 31-year-old defender arrived at Inter from fellow Serie A side Torino during the January transfer window in the 2013/14 season.

He has since went on to represent the club on no less than 195 occasions across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 13 goals and provided 17 assists for his teammates. 18 of those appearances have come this season as has one of the goals he has scored.
