Serie A clubs could be allowed to resume training from the beginning of next month according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.
The report explains that clubs could return to their training grounds and resume training on May 4 and the Serie A season could then resume a few weeks after that with the report suggesting May 24, May 31 and June 7 as days the campaign could well get back underway.
Teams will return to training and will have to adhere to the social distancing rules which will undoubtedly have an impact on what teams can and cannot do in training at the beginning.
The report from the Milan based news outlet goes on to state that when the season does resume, if it does indeed resume, the games still needing played are likely to be played behind closed doors to minimise the risk of infection spreading again.
