Udinese sporting director Pierpaolo Marino has confirmed that for the time being nobody has come forward for either Juan Musso or Rodrigo de Paul.

Musso has strongly been linked with a move to Inter in recent weeks with Inter seemingly seeing him as the ideal goalkeeper to bring in to initially serve as current number one and club captain Samir Handanovic’s back-up before eventually succeeding him.

de Paul on the other hand has long been linked with a move to Inter whilst Inter’s city rivals AC Milan have also been heavily linked with him as of late too.

“Will Musso and De Paul be on the way out of the club in the Summer? No one has come to us,” Marino began an interview with Italian broadcaster SportItalia last night.

He then went on to praise both players who have been among Udinese’s best performers in recent seasons.

“I think Musso is a goalkeeper who, due to his maturity, technical skills and professionalism has a future among the top five in the world. I am sure of this.

“I do not have to explain who de Paul is and what he is like.

“I have great respect for Handanovic but I think Musso can follow in his footsteps.”

This season Musso has made 27 appearances across all competitions in which he has kept nine clean sheets. de Paul has meanwhile made 24 appearances in which he has scored five goals and tallied three assists.
