Samir Handanovic will soon put pen to paper on a new contract with Inter according to a report from Turin newspaper Tuttosport.
The 35-year-old is Inter’s current number one goalkeeper and club captain and is under contract with the club until the end of next season.
As per the report, Inter are ready to give him a contract extension which will keep him with the club until the end of the season after that with the contract to expire just weeks before him turning 38-years-old.
Handanovic has been virtually ever present for Inter since his arrival at the club back in the Summer of 2012 from fellow Serie A side Udinese with the Slovenian national team shot-stopper having made no less than 324 appearances across all competitions, in which he has kept 114 clean sheets.
This season Handanovic has made 30 appearances across all competitions to date in which he has kept a total of eight clean sheets.
