Valentino Lazaro’s Newcastle United future could be determined by what appears to be an imminent change in ownership at the Premier League club according to a report from Italian news outlet PassioneInter.com.

As per various reports doing the Magpies appear set to be taken over by a Saudi Arabian backed consortium and as a result, PassioneInter.com suggest Lazaro’s future with the club could be impacted.

The Austrian national team defender joined them on a six month loan with an option to buy at the end of this season back in January but the owners could well decide to go down a different path and thus not take up the option to sign him from Inter.

The 23-year-old joined Inter in a circa €20 million deal this past Summer from Bundesliga outfit Hertha Berlin but struggled to cement a place in Antonio Conte’s team during the first half of the season which led to him being moved to Newcastle.
